Children can be encouraged to care about others through reading this story. Parents can help by giving their children suggestions on how they can share God’s love to those who are wheel chair bound, sick, hospitalized, etc. All children have something to contribute, something to share with their world and most need the love and guidance of their parents or guardians to help them on their way to becoming compassionate, loving adults.
